Ingredients
- 1 cube butter or butter substitute
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 8 cups cold water
- 3 tablespoons yeast
- 8 cups wheat flour
- 10 cups white flour

Instructions
- In large bowl, put in the 1 cube butter or butter substitute, 2 tablespoons of salt and 2 cups brown sugar
- Pour 4 cups hot water over the contents of the bowl. Let dissolve. Add 4 cups cold water. Sprinkle 3 T yeast on top. Let sit about 5 minutes until the yeast is activated/bubbly.
- Add about 8 cups wheat flour. Stir. Add about 10 cups white flour. Stir.
- Knead. Add 1 cup white flour as needed to get rid of stickiness.
- Cover and let rise, for about 1 hour.
- Punch dough down to remove air bubbles. Divide into 5 parts equally. Grease pans. Roll into loaves and place into bread pans. Let rise for 20-30 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Remove from the pan and let cool.
